On historic Pleasant Street

The Breakwater Center is located on historic Pleasant Street, one of Miramichi's oldest and best-known streets. It has been home to merchants, shipbuilders and community landmarks since the 1800s, and sits just down the street from the boyhood home of Lord Beaverbrook.

Unlike its heritage neighbours, Breakwater is a modern build, completed in 2026 by the team at Breakwater Consulting. It brings a bright, purpose-built workspace to a street with deep roots in the city's history.
